DIY project life cards

Μερικές φορές θέλω να κοψω χαρτιά στα γρήγορα και να βγει κάτι όμορφο.Αυτο που με ενδιαφέρει κυρίως, όταν θέλω να κάνω κάτι τέτοιο, είναι να δημιουργήσω κάτι χρηστικό.Ποτέ μου δεν έχω φτιάξει κάτι απλά και μόνο για δικαιολογήσω μια ανάρτηση.Σ' αυτό το πνεύμα λοιπόν έγιναν αυτές οι πανεύκολες καρτούλες 3χ4 για το άλμπουμ μου.

Έχω μια φουλ έξτρα ανάρτηση επ' αυτού στο In The Scrap και μπορείτε να τη διαβάσετε εκτενώς εκεί.

Two for February

Hi everyone!

I have two layouts I made for scrapaddictes that I still haven't posted on my blog,which makes me realise that it's been almost a month since my last visit here.This is not a good thing :(

But now ,thank god, it's early and everybody else in the house is asleep,so the timing is perfect.

I made the fisrt layout for this month's challenge at Scrapaddictes which is Big Titles.I loved the idea very much.Titles can look as important on a page as the photo itself,right?

And there is one more I made about my husband and I, because I had to scrap this photo.It was late in the afternoon when we took this selfie and we were really ,really exhausted.We still are,in case you are interested.If you'd like to read the whole post ,you can find it here.

Let's talk layouts

 A couple of months ago I was asked to design for a great french magazine:Histoires Des Pages.I can't describe how happy I am.I really can't.All this time I have been wanting share the news and now it's the time!But there's more!From now on, those of you who don't speak french(me included)will have the chance to enjoy Histoire Des Pages magazine in English and on line.Oh yes....!

Let me give you some more info:

It's the 15th already

This year i was supposed to make  melomakarona and kourabiedes but everything changed.....I am not allowed to eat most of the things i used to.Pregnancy diabetes....

So, no christmas treats,no sugar,no pork(bye bye christmas dinner),no nothing.

That's why i bought those felt gingerbread people to replace some of the christmas baking.As soon as i got home i realised that i had to scrap about them.They are so cute!!!!

Capture the good times

One of my love's  most favourite times of the year,is when he's prepearing for the annual bridge tournament.He keeps repeating that everytime a deal comes to an end you have to leave everything behind and focus on the next.Stop thinking what went wrong and keep playing.There is time for evaluation when the day comes to an end.Take a new shot every time.

This is what came to my mind when i saw this: 

and this is what i came up with

Just for the record...his team didn't go very well but he came back from Athens really happy.

Get creative sketch challenge

Σήμερα είναι σπουδαία μέρα.Από σήμερα είμαι κομμάτι του get creative επισήμως.Δε γίνεται να περιγράψω πόσο χαρούμενη είμαι γι'αυτό,επειδή είμαι σίγουρη ότι το φαντάζεστε.Δε θέλω να γράψω πολλά και να γίνω μελό.Μόνο να πω ευχαριστώ στις κοπέλες για το καλωσόρισμα και στην Ειρήνη εκτός από ευχαριστώ ότι αν δεν ήταν αυτή να με ξεθάψει απο το flickr ούτε blog δε θα είχα!

Έραψα ακτινωτά για να αντικαταστήσω τους κυκλους.Και αυτό είναι!

Today is a very special day.From now on I am member of the design team at get creative challenge blog.Can't say how happy and excited I am and how much it means to me.I don't want to write anything more than a big thank you to all the girls for welcoming me to the team and a huge thank you to Irini because if it wasn't for her it's quite possible that I wouldn't even have a blog.

So now,Melenia made this sketch for May's second challenge.My take is what you see above.
