September for scrapaddict and goodbye

This month is my last as a member of scrapaddict creative team.It was a rather productive year for me and Ana has been very generous. It was a good year.I am very happy and grateful for all those people I met and for all those pretty boxes full of goodies I recieved. So this is the end and it's time to move on.
Nevertheless I have to show what i made. This is always the best part of a post ,don't you think?
First comes my layout which has to do with my denial to accept summer is over and I have to go back to work.

And then there is project life spread

You can find a full list of products  and read my whole post here.I am reminding you of the challenge which is still running with a great prize.

So goodbye Scrapaddict and thank you for everything.

The best summer

Hi!
Just before I say officially goodbye to summer- and break down in tears-I decided to make a couple of layouts with poolside collection by Crate Paper I bought from Scrapaddictes.I feel I have to use every single piece before rainy days are here and hopefully I'll make it in time.I also used a Blinks Of Life stamp which I bent around the LOVE acrylic shape and some leftovers from the one and only Studio calico kit I have.

Here is the first one:

Well this is it and i love it.

Two for February

Hi everyone!
I have two layouts I made for scrapaddictes that I still haven't posted on my blog, which makes me realise that it's been almost a month since my last visit here. This is not a good thing :(
But now ,thank god, it's early and everybody else in the house is asleep,so the timing is perfect.
I made the fisrt layout for this month's challenge at Scrapaddictes which is Big Titles.I loved the idea very much.Titles can look as important on a page as the photo itself, right?

And there is one more I made about my husband and I, because I had to scrap this photo. It was late in the afternoon when we took this selfie and we were really ,really exhausted. We still are,in case you are interested. If you'd like to read the whole post ,you can find it here.

Haha.Look at us.

I am just reminding that the challenge is still running. You are welcome to join.
I am sending you all my love and I am off to the kitchen.

My layout and two sneaks

Hi everyone!
Friday is always the best, right?.Makes you feel the weekend is going to be so great.
Well, just before I stretch my legs on the sofa and grab my granny squares,I have a layout to show,a challenge to remind you and  peeks of another project.

Let's begin:
I made this layout for this month's challenge for scrapaddictes-which will be up untill the end of the month.Purposes or goals or resolutions for the new year.
I chose pale colors and touches of gold for this page.It took me so long to write my journaling below my photo.I wrote and erased it about four times.Always a nightmare!I used some products from Open Book collection by crate paper and Stitched by Amy Tan.
The tiny words is from a set of stamps I had from citrus twist.

The other project I was talking about:Ana from scrapaddictes sent me this beautiful neon instagram album which I filled with lots of photos I took back in November. You can read the whole post  and see all of the photos here. Here are two sneaks.

Have a great weekend and see you soon

Make a wish

Hi everyone
I can't believe October is here already.Time flies even faster now that I got back to work! The good thing is that I reevalueted how priceless fridays nights can be and this is one of the things that keep me going:waiting for friday nights and the weekend of course. And like every first friday of the month, it's time for a new challenge at scrapaddictes.

So this month's challenge is about leaves-hoyas(see I am learning spanish!),and this is peek of my layout in mostly blue and cool colors.

If you'd like to learn more about the challenge and find lots of inspiration visit the blog and grab your scissors. It's open for everyone.
Have a great weekend

Stitched

I love stitching on layouts.I think it gives a carefree look on pages.A sense of freedom.Although my sewing machine is rather old and quite heavy-my back aches every time I pick it up,I love it.And I can't say I finished a layout if no thread is involved. So for those of you who love stitching like me,there's a new challenge at scrapaddictes.

Here is my layout

Tons of pink and mint with the shimelle collection.Loved it.Take a closer look

Look at this badge. It was blank with a texture like paper.I used some watercolor(yes, I got myself a set of watercolors) to paint it and glued a tiny heart to embellish it.

Head over to the blog to find more inspiration because there some great ideas for stitching ,even without a sewing machine. Thanks for visiting and see you soon
