Stitched

I love stitching on layouts.I think it gives a carefree look on pages.A sense of freedom.Although my sewing machine is rather old and quite heavy-my back aches every time I pick it up,I love it.And I can't say I finished a layout if no thread is involved.So for those of you who love stitching like me,there's a new challenge at scrapaddictes.

Here is my layout 

Tons of pink and mint with the shimelle collection.Loved it.Take a closer look

Look at this badge.It was blank with a texture like paper.I used some watercolor(yes, I got myself a set of watercolors) to paint it and glued a tiny heart to embellish it.

Blinks Of Life

Well,the time has come.Today I am sharing those wonderful news I mentioned in previous posts and I was so much looking forward to tell everyone.

Blinks of life 

 is here and I am more that happy to announce that I am a part of a very talented and amazing creative team.I had been a fan and loved Natalia's work a long time before I recieved this amazing and out of the blue invitation.

 Do you see that?Can you believe it?Oh I am so very happy!

So with  the first two scrapbook kits, I made six layouts that I want to show you today.

Let's go:

 I used Le Jardin kit for both of them.Lots of pink,mint and green.My favourites.I also used some of the  printables.

Let's see the rest.They were all made by mixing and matching both kits -Le Jardin and Summer Breeze- plus Le jardin printables Vol1&2.

Give me the ball

Just a quick post to share one forgotten layout.Not exactly forgotten but in fact neglected,as I am currently working(hard)on new and exciting things.At the same time,I try to take advantage of the last and actually hot hot hot days( before I go back to work)with day trips to the beach.

Adorable,pink and stripes

For the love of pink and stripes I made this layout a couple of weeks ago but i didn't have the chance to share it until now.

I struggled very hard to complete this layout.I liked everything but I couldn't find something to fill in the gap between the title and the pink paper next to the photo.Then I did what I do most of the times in cases like this(after I had shred everything to pieces and nothing seemed right).I grabbed my scraps.And there it was.This small rectangle with the butterflies from the  styleboard collection.It was already punched ,lying there along with the butterflies.And I loved how it came out because I really think it was meant to be put there from the beginning.Isn't that amazing when it happens?

Practicing funny faces

Hi everyone,

I am sharing a layout I made for scrapaddictes with all those beautiful supplies from the store:open road collection from crate paper,american crafts and studio calico.What more do I need?
