Let's talk layouts

 A couple of months ago I was asked to design for a great french magazine:Histoires Des Pages.I can't describe how happy I am.I really can't.All this time I have been wanting share the news and now it's the time!But there's more!From now on, those of you who don't speak french(me included)will have the chance to enjoy Histoire Des Pages magazine in English and on line.Oh yes....!

Let me give you some more info:

Several days ago I was asked to do a layout for the Sunday Sketch feature on the Sudio Calico blog.It went up last Sunday.You can't imagine my excitement and enthusiasm.The truth is that I can't describe how happy I was to to do this!!!!!!No,I can't.

Μνήμη ψαριού

Η μνήμη του ψαριού είναι σχεδόν ανύπαρκτη(αν κάποιος γνωρίζει κάτι εξτρά επ'αυτού,καλέιται να το καταθέσει στα σχόλια).Σαν των μωρών ας πούμε.Τη μία στιγμή τους βάζεις στη μύτη αυτή τη φοβερά ενοχλητική(δεν το θυμάμαι....το φανταζομαι όμως και συμπεραίνω από τις αντιδράσεις) βεντούζα για τις μύξες και την επόμενη στιγμή(και λιγότερο),χαίρονται που σε βλέπουν να μπάινεις στο δωμάτιο τόσο που είσαι σίγουρη ότι σε βλέπουν σαν κι εγώ δεν ξέρω τι(πήγα να γράψω χάμπουργκερ αλλά δεν κολλάει εδώ).Κατά κει οδεύω κι εγώ.Μνήμη ασθενής κατά τις πρώτες πρωινές ώρες χωρίς σημάδια βελτίωσης και διανοητική κατάσταση φθίνουσα.Ποιός εγώ?Με τη μνήμη ελέφαντα(μάλλον πάει με τα κιλά στα ζώα εν αντιθέση με μένα).

Μην τα πολυλογώ,λόγω αυτής της κατάστασης,έχω φοβίες ότι όταν μεγαλώσει το μωρό μου,δε θα θυμάμαι ποιο φορμάκι μου άρεσε να της φοράω περισσότερο απ'όλα,ποιό παιχνίδι ροκάνιζε μετά μανίας νύχτα μέρα,τί κουρτίνες είχα στο δωμάτιό της και όλα αυτά που μπορεί κάποιος να σκέφτεται(δεν αποκλείεται κι εγώ η ίδια μετά από λίγο καιρό)ότι δεν έχουν(μάλλον δεν έχουν)καμία σημασία.Παρ'όλα αυτά αποφάσισα να καταγράφω με εικόνες ό,τι μπορώ και όταν θυμάμαι(..χαίρομαι) ότι το αποφάσισα να το κάνω!

Και έτσι έγινε και έβγαλα μερικές φωτογραφίες κάποια παιχνίδια που υπάρχουν εδώ κι εκεί.Κι από όλες αυτές τις φωτό,διάλεξα μερικές για το "ό,τι νά 'ναι και κάτι μεταλλικό" του SIG.

     To brad της ΜΜΕ είναι το κάτι μεταλλικό που λέγαμε...

Goodbye Summer

It's been sooo long since my last post.I am still here and working on something important.I can't tell for the time being but I will very soon.Promise.

Anyway,I scrapped a page last night.It took me more that usual(who am I kidding ...? I am a very slow scrapper) and used this sketch.I loved it because it's very close to what I usually do.Horizontal layout I mean.This is it:

The perfect orange

It's the little moments....

I am one of those scrappers who need a starting point and a purpose to create a layout.I just can't grab my scissors and glue and do the work.No,I can't.When I find an inspiring "challenge",I am in heaven.So,yesterday I decided to make a layout with tags,motivated by this video by Janna Werner for 2peas.

  And this is what I came up with:

Too much pink,I know and I am doing it again and again and again,but what can I do?I love it.
